Mark Cuban, owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, is in talks with Charlie Sheen on a potential new show for his network HDNet. Mark Cuban gave no hints as to the show’s premise, but might Cuban be giving us a clue through his riveting use of the word ‘things’?

“You’ve got somebody that everybody has a whole lot of interest in who’s doing some interesting things, to say the least, and we always look for interesting programming by featuring interesting people doing interesting things,” Cuban said before the Mavericks’ game against the Memphis Grizzlies. “I reached out and we’ve had some conversations, and we’re going to work on doing some things.”

“We’re trying to decide,” Cuban said. “Right now, we’re taping a lot of different things that he’s doing and we’ll try to figure it out. It’s still not 100 percent certain.”
Mark Cuban’s assistant whispering in his ear before the interview: Our publicist says ‘things’ is a real buzzword right now. Make sure and get it into the interview as much as possible.
“The thing I like the most about Charlie is that he just loves to mess with the media. You guys fall hook, line and sinker.”
Why haven’t I been watching this HDNet thing more? Sounds like they have some really interesting things going on. All I know is that Cuban’s description of the talks and his many references to ‘things’ has left me on the edge of my seat. I must see this thing!
