Is the page with the funny part missing? Ha Ha!!! Just teasing…I think I like Dirty Hairy Harry and the Unforshaven the best. Clint Eastwood fan…

I tried to think of some other possibilities for Eastwood using The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly or A Fistful of Dollars, but the magic just wasn’t there.

Portland, Maine, eh? In that case, the real question is: Will there be Moxie? (Moxstache?)
The Good Greatsby
February 8, 2012
Is that an inside joke to citizens of Maine?

That daisyfae just gives as good as she gets! Between the two of you I think I will just stay on the floor until the next paroxysm of laughter passes!

Would love to see a pic of a handlebar mustachioed Good Greatsby with smoking jacket and pipe. 🙂

I considered including a picture of me with a mustache but Photoshop had other plans.

I’m pretty sure The Man Who Shaved Liberty Valence is 18 and over, only.

That’s what I learned when I thought of Shaving Private Ryan but looked it up to make sure it wasn’t for an adult crowd.

I have some of that Mission Impstubble on my legs right now for I am Unforshaven. I’ve got to find The Man Who Shaved Liberty Valance and get in line. “Next!”

Sexiest Mustachioed Man Alive is sure to be a toss-up between Tom Seleck and Clark Gable. Clark gets my vote.

February 9, 2012
I’d have to pick Selleck over Gable. You’ve got to give Tom Selleck credit if he could still look awesome while wearing Bermuda shirts, short shorts, and long socks.
Carl D'Agostino

I know some old Sicilian women that would like to participate.

Amazing. I still regret not buying this keychain I saw at Bed, Bath and Beyond in December – it was a plastic mustache you could hold up to your face, and when you pressed its button it said, “Why hello there.”

February 9, 2012
You must find me that mustache keychain. It might actually help me remember to carry my keys.

Ooh, ooh, can I play? How about:
The Men Who Stare at Goatees
The English Leather Patient (when shaving goes very, very wrong…)
Jackie Braun
Shave It Forward
Jurraschick Park
Weekend at Sideburnies (not quite moustache-related, but good crossover crowds)
Weekend at Sideburnies 2 (crossover drops off, though fills time in a ‘C’ venue nicely)
The Sting (this one may have been taken already…)

I tip my hat to you; I kept coming back to Jurassic Park but I could never make it work.

Ha – glad you liked it. I actually came at it the other way, trying to find a way to use “Schick”. I thought for sure there were movies with the word “Stick”, but no luck. Not exactly sure how Jurraschick happened though — must have just popped into my head…

I wish I’d tried to think of some shaving product name brands. That could have opened things wide up if I’d used Gilette or Schick.

And they say nothing ever happens in Maine.
I clicked on the link because I was sure you were making this up. I noticed this festival will be the ‘first of its kind’. Not very surprising. Let’s hope it catches on like Moxie.

February 9, 2012
What is this ‘Moxie’ you Mainers keep referring to?

It’s the local soft drink. Sort of a mixture of battery acid and expired cough syrup with a splash of lemon.

I discovered in Michigan they have a local legendary soda, too. It’s a lethal form of Ginger Ale called “Vernor’s”. You have to grow up with it (to develop an immunity, I suppose). It’ll put hair on your chest, I swear !!
Glynis Sylvia
February 10, 2012
And they give this Vernor’s stuff to sick people, kids even, like we do with Ginger Ale. I think the philosophy is that it will CORRODE the sickness right out of you !

They’ve got to invite Dr. Phil; is any celebrity mustache more famous than his right now?

Have you seen that infomercial for the car mustaches? The people going to that festival really should put those on their vehicles to be truly authentic.
